MUSCAT: Oman has announced a multi-trip tourist visa for “Hayya” card holders attending the Fifa World Cup 2022, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said on Wednesday.
Lt. Col. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Ghafri, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the General Directorate of Passports and Civil Status, informed that the World Cup fan visa for Hayya card holders will be free of charge and will be valid for 60 days.
Hayya card holder can also bring his family (first degree) and reside in Oman. The first entry to Qatar will begin from November 1, 2022 and the last entry will be December 23, 2022.

The Hayya Card will serve as an entry permit to Qatar, the host country, during the tournament period and is mandatory for football fans wishing to attend matches.
More than 20,000 hotel rooms along with 200 resorts in 11 wilayats have been set in the country to welcome the football fans.
Meanwhile, Oman Air will fly daily flights to take football fans from Oman to Doha.
