MUSCAT: The Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) has refuted rumours about terminating its CEO following a major power outage in the country on Monday.
In a statement issued, OETC denied the dismissal of Eng Saleh bin Nasser Al Ramahi.
“The Oman Electricity Transmission Company denies what is being circulated on social media about the dismissal of Eng Saleh bin Nasser Al Ramahi, CEO of the company, due to the power outage in Oman yesterday. The company notes the need to obtain information from its official sources,” OTEC said in a statement.
