MUSCAT: A major power outage in various parts of the country including Muscat has affected traffic lights as well, with traffic jams reported in multiple locations.
In a statement issued, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said its team “is working to secure traffic on roads and intersections that operate with traffic lights to facilitate their flow and organize the safe passage of road users.
Motorists have been urged to exercise caution and drive safely.
