MUSCAT: One road accident occurs in the country every six hours, Oman’s National Center for Statistics and Information said in a new data.
In 2021, a total of 1,539 road accidents occurred on Oman roads. “This is 1 accident per 6 hours the end of 2021, compared to 1 accident per 3 hours by the end of 2017,” the report said.
The statistics showed that the number of traffic accidents in 2020 reached 1,341.

Statistics show that the number of vehicles registered in Oman in 2021 stood at 1.55 million.
