MUSCAT: Seven people were rescued after a fire broke out in a high-rise in Dhofar Governorate.
A Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority Tweet stated that the firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority in the Governorate of Dhofar were able to put out fire in a building in the Awqad area in the Wilayat of Salalah. Seven people were rescued and they are in good health.
On Thursday, firefighters were able to put out a fire that broke out in containers at Salalah port.

In a third incident on Friday, the CDAA firefighters extinguished the fire that caught a farm in Al Obeid area of South Al Batinah Governorate. No casualties were reported.
