MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik expressed solidarity with Pakistan after floods in the Asian nation claimed the lives of hundreds of people.
In a letter to Pakistan President Dr. Arif Alvi, His Majesty has offered sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
The Pakistan government on Friday declared devastating floods a “national emergency” after nearly 1,000 people died.
