MUSCAT: One person was arrested for smuggling crystal drug and hashish, along with opium and psychotropic substances in the Sultanate, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said in a statement.
The Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances was able to arrest a suspect belonging to Asian community on the charges of smuggling narcotic drugs.
Over 43 kilograms of crystal drug, more than 25 kilograms of hashish and several quantities of opium and psychotropic substances were seized by the authorities, the ROP said.

Legal procedures have been taken against the accused.
