MUSCAT: In a shocking video that has been making the rounds on social media, a child was spotted driving a car on South Al Batinah Governorate road.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said it stopped the “juvenile who is an Asian nationality while he was driving and impounded the vehicle.” Police also summoned his guardian to take legal measures.
Though the video has gone viral in the last 24 hours and has drawn flak from several netizens.

It is worth noting that the minimum age to apply for a license to drive a private motor vehicle in Oman is 18 years.
