MUSCAT: Several officials at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, on Wednesday, met with a delegation from the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of the Russian Federation.
The meeting explored means of enhancing cooperation in trade exchange for fish, agricultural and livestock products. It also reviewed the procedures and conditions related to exporting between Oman and Russia.
The meeting comes within the framework of the visit programme of the Russian delegation to Oman to explore health practices, the quality of manufacturing in fish, agricultural and livestock facilities and the food safety system.

The visit also aims to complete the evaluation procedures of the Oman Fisheries Company in preparation for allowing its products to be exported to Russia.
