MUSCAT : A comprehensive group of local and international Energy and Minerals Companies marked presence in Aster Royal Hospital – the newest super-multi-speciality Hospital located in Al Ghubra.

HSE executives of major energy and minerals stakeholders were guided in a site-tour in the country’s largest multidisciplinary private hospital in Oman, that announced the soft opening for the end of this month.

During the visit, Dr. Ashendu Pandey, the Hospital’s Group CEO, made a brief about its structure, focusing on the public’s healthcare needs, the international standards of quality, the specialized medical services and the innovative diagnostic treatment solutions.

Dr. Ashendu stated: “With the opening of this Hospital, we are able to bring more patients onboard, allying the modern facilities, with the usual trust that we generously receive from the Oman population and that we are so grateful for these last 12 years. Our compromise it to work every day to keep this trust, bringing health and well-being to the community”.

The distinguished visitors get to know the Hospital’s Excellence Centres – Gastroenterology, Urology, Orthopaedics and Women & Children. They also visited the Deluxe rooms, the VIP lounge area, the radiology department (totally equipped with the renowned brand Siemens Healthineers), the state-of-the-art operation theaters and the unique “cath lab” – that is ready for the performance of heart and neurosurgery interventions.

This visit is in collaboration with OPAL (Oman Society for Petroleum Services), with the support of the OPAL’s CEO, Eng. Abdulrahman Al Yahaei.

Eng. Abdulrahman stated “It is fundamental to support the private sector projects, by guaranteeing that the companies and the society in general are aware of varies offers the market avails. It is part of OPAL’s mission to serve our sector by promoting synergies and we found the opening of Aster Royal Hospital as an opportunity for the improvement of the quality of life and health care services of our members”.

Mr. Hussain Al Lawati, HSE in Total Energies shared his experience during the visit: “It was a good experience to visit Aster Royal Hospital and getting to know it’s Excellence Centres and unique services, some of them available for the first time in the private sector in Oman”.

Aster Royal Hospital will be operated initially in a phased manner, starting with the emergency department, radiology, laboratory, and outpatient clinic (and related facilities). Additional departments will be gradually be available over the next few months.

Aster Royal Hospital counts on two underground parking area, 200 inpatient beds, bringing a total of 150 new doctors and staff members, modern technologies and infrastructure, ready for any major operation or complication with 24-hour emergency services.
