MUSCAT: All accounting, auditing offices, institutions, and businesses involved in precious metals and gemstones are urged by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion to appoint a reporting officer for suspicious transactions in their organisations as soon as possible.
Within a week of this announcement, the institutions must send the ministry the necessary information via email to aml@tejarah.gov.om.
This includes a copy of the employee’s civil ID, their contact information (e-mail and phone number), and copies of their academic transcripts and certificates of training in the relevant field.
