MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman has signed the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in Southeast Asia to consolidate cooperation and strengthen strategic partnership.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Diplomatic Affairs, on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) foreign ministers meeting, held in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh.
This treaty includes more than 40 partner countries. The treaty aims to achieve the principles of friendship, cooperation and peace among the member states.
