MUSCAT: In certain wilayats of Oman that saw significant rainfall and valley flooding on Monday, telecommunications services have been somewhat impacted.
The authorities warned that due to severe rains and overflowing valleys, telecommunications services are only partially available in various wilayats of the governorates of South Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah, and Al Dhahirah.
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) said in a statement on Tuesday that the authority has been following up with the operator’s procedures to quickly restore services in the impacted areas.
