MUSCAT: The main index of the Muscat Stock Exchange broke the barrier of 4,500 points last week and closed at the end of trading last week at 4532 points, recording its best level since October 2018.
“The rise came amid support from banks and a number of leading companies included in the price index sample, amid many positive news, at a time when high oil prices support the state’s general budget, amid unremitting efforts by the government to develop the non-oil sectors,” MSX said in a statement.
