Emergency sub-committees deactivated in most Oman governorates

On Monday, the National Committee for Emergency Management had directed to activate the sub-committees in several governorates of Oman ahead of the expected rains.

MUSCAT: All sub-committees called in for managing emergency cases in Oman have been deactivated except in two governorates.

The National Committee for Emergency Management has now deactivated all sub-committees in all governorates of Oman, except for those in North Al Batinah and Musandam.

On Monday, July 25, the National Committee for Emergency Management had directed to activate the sub-committees in several governorates of Oman.

The sub-committees in the governorates of Muscat, North Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliya, Al Dhahirah, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Al Buraimi and Musandam had been activated.

All authorities had been advised to be prepared for the potential impacts of the expected rains.
