MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has busted a smuggling operation of over 100 kilograms of hashish and crystal drugs in Oman.
The Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substance arrested three suspects, belonging to Asian nationality, as they arrived on a boat in the Sultanate.
The suspects attempted to hide the smuggled drugs by burying them on the beach. Legal procedures have been initiated against the accused, the Royal Oman Police said in a statement.
