Over 280 illegal items seized from shops in Oman

Necessary legal measures were taken by the Consumer Protection Authority in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

MUSCAT: Over 280 items which violate public morals have been confiscated by the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) in Oman’s Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

The 285 items which were seized by the authorities from various shops in the governorate included pictures and forms that violate public morals, such as notebooks, toys, bags and kites.

Necessary legal measures were taken based on the text of Article (26) of the Executive Regulations of Consumer Protection Law No. 66/2014, the CPA said in a statement.
