MUSCAT: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, on Tuesday, signed 19 contracts for land usufruct in varied sectors and for several locations in various governorates of the Sultanate.
The total value of the projects signed amounts to more than OMR 3 million. These projects will be established on a total area of more than 372,000 square meters.
On behalf of the ministry, the agreements were signed by His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Al-Mutawa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning at the ministry’s general office building.

The approved projects range from establishing a service centre, a multi-purpose hall to building factories for building materials, ready-mix concrete, and water purification.
A total of 22 available sites were offered for electronic bidding on the usufruct system via the ministry’s digital platform, Tatweer, in three governorates.
