MUSCAT: The Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) of Sultan Qaboos University reported that a magnitude 5 earthquake was felt in Southern Iran on Monday.
According to the centre, the earthquake took place at a depth of 10 kilometres and around 7:55 p.m. MCT. The distance between the earthquake and Khasab was 114 kilometres.
