ANTWERP: The Royal Navy of Oman ship, Shabab Oman II, secured first place in a sports competition held at the Long Sailing Festival 2022 in the Port of Antwerp, Belgium.
Shabab Oman II had won three previous awards during its sixth international voyage which included an award for the best ship in the Port of Harlingen, Netherlands and an award for the best ship that received visitors.
According to the audience’s vote, the Royal Navy of Oman ship also received an award for travelling farthest to participate in the long sailing ship races held at a festival in Esbjerg.
