MUSCAT: An expatriate was arrested in Nizwa on charges of possessing large quantities of alcoholic beverages.
In a statement issued, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said: “Nizwa Police Task Force Unit, in cooperation with the Investigation and Risk Assessment Department of the General Administration of Customs, arrested an Asian expatriate on charges of trafficking in alcoholic beverages, and seized large quantities of various types of alcoholic beverages. Legal procedures were completed against him.”
