MUSCAT: Effective from Thursday, July 14, 2022, imports of cosmetics and personal care items containing the ingredient “Butylphenyl Methylpropional” are prohibited by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) in Oman.
In order to provide safe products in the local market, the ministry has placed a ban on products containing this particular substance.
