MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Wednesday arrested two Omani citizens for crossing a flooded wadi in Suhar and endangering their lives.
In a statement issued, ROP said the
“North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested two citizens for not complying with the instructions and crossing Wadi Ahan in the Wilayat of Sohar this evening. ROP referred them to the judicial authorities to take legal action.”
Deliberate crossing of wadis in Oman will result in a three-month sentence and a 500 OMR fine.
