MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police on Monday arrested three expats on charges of climbing the flagpole.
The incident happened in Nizwa Fort on Sunday when three expatriates climbed the flagpole in a way that endangered their lives. The video had gone viral on social media.
“Al Dakhiliyah Police Command arrested three Asians on charges of climbing the flagpole of Nizwa Castle in a way that endangers their lives. Legal procedures are completed against them,” ROP added.
