MUSCAT: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a message of greetings and best wishes to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and the people of Oman on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
In his message, Modi has noted that the festival of Eid Al Adha, observed by over 200 million Indians of the Islamic faith, spreads the universal message of love, piety, sacrifice, and forgiveness.
Noting that the historical relationship between India and Oman has strengthened in recent years based on the shared vision and fraternal relations among the people of the two countries. PM Modi has expressed his hope of working closely with Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to take this partnership to new heights.

“Prime Minister Modi has conveyed the good wishes of the people of India for the continued progress and prosperity of the Omani people on this pious occasion,” the statement issued by the Embassy of Muscat.
