MUSCAT: The Drug and Psychotropic Substances Administration led by the Dhofar Provincial Police and in cooperation with the Task Police Unit of Salalah arrested a person on smuggling charges.
The accused was caught smuggling more than 980 packets of khat drugs on a 4×4 vehicle.
Legal proceedings are being completed against him, the authorities said.
