MUSCAT: The Civil Aviation Authority has issued the first warning of heavy rains and thunderstorms which is likely to be expected in Oman on Monday.
This weather can continue until Wednesday, where rainfall in some areas of Oman may fall between 20 to 80 millimetres.
The authority has called for caution during thunderstorms and advised to not cross valleys during these days. It has also cautioned residents to avoid low-lying area and not set sail during such weather conditions.
