MUSCAT: The total number of expatriate workers in the Sultanate increased by 1.2% compared to the previous month, while it has increased 7% on an annual basis by the end of May 2022.
The number of expat workers in private sector also increased by 7.8% by the end of May 2022, while expat families increased by 7.2%.
Expatriates in the government sector continue to decline, as the number decreased by 17.2% on an annual basis.
