MUSCAT: The Royal Navy of Oman ship Shabab Oman II arrived at Port of Gothenburg in Sweden on Wednesday as part of its international voyage.
Shabab Oman II aims to introduce the authentic Omani culture at its various international stations, in addition to viewing the photo gallery on board that highlights the most important historical, cultural and developmental landmarks of the Sultanate.
This is the sixth international voyage for the vessel. The ship’s farewell ceremony was officially sponsored by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court at Saeed bin Sultan Naval Base.

The ship has participated in many sporting events, marine competitions and other competitions. Shabab Oman II has been traveling more than 7,500 nautical miles, since she set sails on April 11.
