MUSCAT: Heavy rainfall will continue in many parts of Oman, the Meteorology Department said on Saturday.
“There are chances of sporadic rain – sometimes thunderstorms accompanied by active winds – this evening, especially in the mountainous areas of the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah, North Al Sharqiyah, and South Al Sharqiyah.”
The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority called on everyone to take precautions and to stay away from the valleys’ streams and not to risk crossing them.
