MUSCAT: A Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority team were able to rescue a citizen who was found injured in the mountainous area in Wilayat Nakhal in Al Batinah South Governorate.
The rescue team was able to rescue the injured person and provide him with emergency medical care, the authority said. He is now recovering steadily.
The authority has advised hikers to take the necessary precautions before visiting places with mountainous terrain in order to avoid dangers.
