MUSCAT: The Indian rupee hit a new record low on Monday as it breached the 78 against the dollar for the first time ever. It closed at its weakest level of 77.93 in the previous session.
Some exchange houses in the Sultanate of Oman were offering ₹203 against OMR 1 on Monday morning.
