MUSCAT: The Municipal Council of Dhofar Governorate, on Monday, discussed the readiness of the concerned authorities to receive visitors to the governorate during the autumn tourist season in 2022.
The meeting, which was chaired by Mohammed bin Saeed Kashoub, Vice President of the Municipal Council, reviewed the programs and plans of the Dhofar Municipality for the autumn season, as well as the preparations of the concerned authorities in the governorate for the tourist season.
The Council was also briefed on the visual presentation submitted by the competent authorities in the General Directorate of Social Development in the Governorate of Dhofar to activate the social development committees and the relief and shelter sector under the management of the National Center for Emergency Management to deal with climatic conditions.

During the meeting, the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council were approved, and the recommendations and outcomes of the meetings of the sub-committees on the topics referred to them for research and study were reviewed.
