MUSCAT: Oman LNG’s revenues at the end of 2021 grew by 31 percent to $3.278 million compared to the end of 2020 as a result of higher global energy prices.
The annual report indicates that net income for the company by the end of 2021 increased by 34 percent to $886 million, and the company allocated about $37 million to its social responsibility programs and initiatives.
The report shows that the LNG sector has boosted government gas revenues to nearly $2.873 million over the past year.

Oman LNG’s production rates rose to record levels of 10.6 million metric tons in 2021.
It is hoped that the production capacity of locomotives will reach more than 11 million metric tons after the completion of strategic projects at the Baqalat industrial complex.
