MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Wednesday arrested an citizen for violating public morals.
In a statement issued, ROP said the person published a video clip on social media showing him uttering words that violate public morals. “The General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation arrested a citizen for violating the Law on Combating Information Technology Crimes, after he published a video clip on social media showing him uttering words that violate public morals. Legal procedures are being completed against him,” ROP said.
