MUSCAT: The Saudi Cabinet, during a session held on Tuesday, approved a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of standardisation between the governments of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate.
The session was held via video conference and was chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
On the sidelines of the Saudi Crown Prince’s visit to the Sultanate of Oman last December, the two countries signed two memoranda of understanding.

They were related to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, standardisation, specifications, quality, measurement, calibration and laboratories.
The Saudi Press Agency said that the Council of Ministers was briefed on the topics on its agenda, including topics that the Shura Council participated in its study.
