MUSCAT: The volume of real estate trading in Oman during the first quarter of 2022 amounted to about OMR 587.5 million, of which OMR 284.5 million are mortgages.
In a report issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning indicated that among the trading OMR 299.1 million were for sales contracts, and OMR 3.9 million for swap contracts.
The report also indicated that the number of title deeds issued during the first quarter of this year amounted to 60,463 title deeds in all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
