MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said will patronize the inauguration ceremony of the corner at the National Museum in the name of the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur.
In a statement issued, Oman News Agency said the corner in the name of the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos will be inaugurated on Thursday, May 12.
The corner will cover a comprehensive picture of the life of the late Sultan.

His Excellency Salem bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum said that the opening of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Corner represents an “important addition that embodies a pivotal stage in the modern history of the Sultanate of Oman by displaying the immortal legacy of the late Sultan and introducing him in appreciation and reverence for his achievements during the stages of the Renaissance.”
Al Mahrouqi said the tourism ministry will hold exhibitions in a number of governorates, during which a number of additional holdings of the late Sultan will be displayed.
