MUSCAT: The Ministry of Social Development, in coordination with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, has issued an announcement that it’ll be sponsoring the Haj for 400 people.
In a circular issued by the ministry, it has called on social security beneficiaries to register via the electronic link http://www.hajj.om between May 9 to 14, 2022. Care must be taken to select the social security icon during registration.
The Ministry has clarified the application requirements. The applicant must fulfil the Haj requirements put forth by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs. The applicant’s age must fall between the ranges of 30-65 years, Haj is obligatory for the first time, and that the applicant must be healthy and able to perform the rituals of Haj.
