MUSCAT: The weather on Sunday, May 8, will be generally clear in most of the governorates.
The is a possibility of clouds forming over the Hajar Mountains during the afternoon, and chances of low clouds or fog forming towards the end of the night and early morning over certain parts of the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, Dhofar and the coastal areas overlooking the Sea of Oman.
On the coasts of the Arabian Sea, moderate to active south to southwesterly winds is expected. Light to moderate easterly to southeasterly winds may be active at times over the open areas in the Sultanate.

The sea will be calm on the shores of the Sea of Oman, with a maximum height of 1.25 metres, while the waves will be moderate to rough on the coasts of the Arabian Sea with a maximum height of 2.5 metres.
