MUSCAT: The Sri Lankan Parliament has approved the appointment of a new Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman.
The Colombo Page, citing the Communications Department of the Sri Lankan Parliament, reported that the Parliament has approved the appointment of Ahmed Lebbe Sabarullah Khan as the new Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to appointing two other ambassadors to Turkey and South Korea.
The report also added that the appointment of Minister of State for Disaster Management and two secretaries-general for the Ministries of Agriculture and Technology were approved.
