MUSCAT: Every hour in Oman, 13 new driving licences are issued, new statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) has revealed.
According to the data, more than 300,000 driving licences were issued in the Sultanate in 2021, of which “48.2% were females holding new licences.”
“In 2021, 399,000 new driving licences were issued,” NCSI added.

More than 1.55 million vehicles were registered in the country by the end of December 2021.
