MUSCAT: The weather in Oman on Thursday, May 5, will be generally clear in most governorates, the Oman Meteorology department has said.
There may be a possibility of dust and dust rising over the exposed areas due to the movement of the active northwest winds. Chances of low clouds and fog formation is expected by the end of the night and in the wee hours along the coastal areas overlooking the Arabian Sea.
Light to moderate south to southwesterly winds blow, sometimes active is expected on the coasts of the Arabian Sea. Light to moderate northwest winds is expected on the coasts of the Sea of Oman and the rest of the governorates.

Regarding the state of the sea, medium waves with a maximum height of two metres is expected on most of the coasts of the Sultanate of Oman.
