MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases on Sunday.
Of the 304 prisoners who were issued Royal pardon, 108 convicts were foreign nationals.
His Majesty’s Royal pardon coincides with the Blessed Eid Al Fitr and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
