MUSCAT: The main moon sighting committee will meet on Sunday evening to determine the first day of Eid Al Fitr in Oman, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs said.
In a statement issued, the Ministry said: “We call on citizens and residents to investigate the sighting of the crescent.”
If the new crescent Moon of Shawwal is seen, the end of Ramadan will be confirmed and Eid Al Fitr will begin the following day.
