Oman’s exports to European Union up by 147%

The Sultanate's exports to the European Union rose from €318 million in 2020 to €789 million in 2021.

MUSCAT: The volume of trade exchange between the Sultanate of Oman and the European Union countries has been over €3 billion in 2021.

In a recent report, it was stated the EU’s imports from the Sultanate of Oman amounted to about €789 million last year, while its exports to Oman touched to about €2466 million.

The report also pointed out that the imports of the European Union countries from the Sultanate of Oman has grown during the period from 2020-2021 at a rate of 147.8%, while exports decreased by 17.4 percent.

The Sultanate’s exports of goods to the European Union rose from €318 million in 2020 to €789 million in 2021.
