MUSCAT: An expatriate was injured while climbing a mountain in Dhofar Governorate on Friday evening, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said.
CDAA said the person who is a European national was injured in Jabal Samhan. “Rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of Dhofar responded to a report that a person of European nationality was injured in Jabal Samhan while he was mountain climbing.”
CDAA urged on adventurers and hikers to take necessary precautions before going to places with difficult terrain.
