MUSCAT: The Seismological Center at the Sultan Qaboos University reported that an earthquake measuring 2.4-magnitude occurred in the Governorate of Dhofar on Thursday.
The center stated that the tremor occurred at 10:05 am local time. “The depth is 0.6 km, and its location is 40 km away from the Wilayat of Salalah,” the statement added.
