Oman, Netherlands discuss water management, climate risks

MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Netherlands discussed ways to develop cooperation between the two countries in the fields of water management, technical support, capacity building, mitigating climate risks, and a number of water-related issues.

This came during a meeting held by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Salem Al Harthy, the Sultanate of Oman’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Netherlands, at the embassy’s headquarters in The Hague with His Excellency Peter Deiss, Director General of Global Affairs at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.

The meeting was attended by HE Stella Kloth, Ambassador of the Netherlands to the Sultanate of Oman, and Bob Alof, Legal Adviser to the General Department of Environment and Global Affairs of the Netherlands.
