MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police has confirmed the death of two students at their residence in the Wilayat of Nizwa on Tuesday evening.
In a statement issued, ROP said preliminary investigations indicated that they were meddling with an object suspected to be very old projectile that they found in a mountainous area, which led to its explosion. “investigations are still ongoing to find out the circumstances of the incident,” ROP added.
